Message from the High School Team
Dear Family of Class of 2021 Graduation Candidates:
Commencement at California School for the Deaf is an incredibly special occasion for family, friends, faculty, staff, and the community. This occasion marks the passage of your child from high school to the adult community. Graduation is the culmination of challenging work and effort, both of which we are proud to recognize. The High School Team will honor candidates who have fulfilled all graduation requirements as participants in the ceremony.
Graduation for the California School for the Deaf is planned for Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:30 PM. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions in Alameda County, the graduation ceremony event will be virtual for the time being. You will be informed of any changes in this plan. All ceremonies are accessible to all attendees. For specific accommodations or more information, please contact the administrator in charge of the scholarship and graduation ceremonies, Frank Lester, via email at FLester@csdf-cde.ca.gov or via phone at 510-344-6134.
On behalf of the faculty and staff of the High School Team at the California School for the Deaf, we would like to thank you for your support with ensuring we have a successful graduation. The scholarship and graduation ceremonies will be a memorable event that your child and family will treasure as they prepare for their transition into new beginnings.Let us together make this a proud event for all.
